Described at the time as the gateway to London’s Olympic Park and the largest urban shopping centre in Europe with 1.9 million sq. ft. of retail and leisure.

MDUK Media was commissioned for a complete branding exercise in preparation for the launch of the European Commerce and Mercantile Bank . Key to the success of this project was not just the design of an effective and charming communication, but a design that would showcase the visual identity by adhering strictly to the corporations ethos of performance, expertise and integrity.

MDUK Media brought the new identity to life by using strong yet refined iconography, slogans and an imposing colour-set. Sensitive design and impressive production standards produced high quality marketing collateral and a corporate brochure consisting of a delicately infused laminate and spot varnish finish.

‘Making Life Sweeter’ especially when you brand and design a range of packaging and marketing peripherals for Birmingham’s most renowned Asian confectioner. As part of a major store extension, MDUK was requested to produce a fresh photography and brand proposition for Mushtaq’s ‘fine ingredient and delectable desserts’. In a comprehensive marketing roll-out to coincide with the companies growth in the distribution and point of sale of its established and new product ranges.

The project included final creatives for Mushtaq’s vehicle signage and their customised range of mini-refrigerators. The resulting visual transformation was well-received and described as refreshing and contemporary, whilst still retaining a cultural artistic flair.

As a ‘start-up’ UK charity which is already well-established and well-known in the Indian Sub-Continent, our task was to increase its profile and donors within the UK to support their projects which are for some of the most needy people in the world.

Impact

The Ehsaas Trust is now raising donations amounting to over £1,000,000 a year.

Testimonial

“MDUK Media have been at the forefront of bringing awareness of our charity to the public. The strategies they have employed have raised our profile dramatically and increased our donor-base significantly.

“They have always treated our charity ‘as their own’ with a passion and dedication beyond what is required, something that has been of great guidance and benefit to us and of great credit to them.

“They have always delivered on what they have promised and I would recommend any business or organisation to contact them for the services they provide.”

Isabella Court was named after Mrs Isabella Gilmore, who ran a Church of England charitable organisation from the site in Victorian times and was sister to William Morris, noted artist, craftsman and a founder of the gloriously decorative Arts & Craft movement. She commissioned famed architect Philip Webb, a colleague of her brother’s, to create a chapel within Gilmore House, the headquarters of her organisation. Isabella Court sits within the original grounds of that house, which is now a Grade II listed building.

MDUK was tasked in the preparation of creating a brand identity for the development. A William Morris inspired, foiled rose motif was adopted as the central icon with a complimentary mustard seed colour theme and double-edged font style indicative of the period. The project included, image procurement, a sales microsite, brochure design and printing on a much suited, uncoated stock for a rustic and textured finish.
